Description

1867-S Ten-Dollar, XF 40

1867-S XF 40 PCGS. Even at the XF 40 level, the '67-S is considered an important condition rarity, being twenty points finer than the average grade encountered. This is a bright, yellow-gold coin that shows only faint traces of mint luster around the devices. A bit weakly struck, as usually found, the fields are moderately abraded with no large or singularly distracting blemishes.
