1868 $10 AU50 NGC. A bright yellow-gold example of this elusive issue. The luster extent is pleasing, and the obverse has only light, scattered flaws. Just 10,630 pieces were struck, and only a tiny fraction of the original mintage escaped the smelter. Census: 12 in 50, 53 finer (7/08).(Registry values: N2998)
