Description

1868 $10 AU50 PCGS. Except for the 1861, all ten dollar issues from the 1860s have very low mintages. The 1868 production of 10,630 pieces is actually higher than most Philadelphia dates from that decade. The present example briefly entered commerce, but retains luster in protected areas. The wingtips have only faint wear. Abrasions are scattered but few are of any consequence.(Registry values: N2998)
