Description

1868 $10 AU53 PCGS. Like all ten dollar issues from the 1860s aside from the 1861, the 1868 is rare. Just 10,630 pieces were struck, and collector interest was marginal until the 1930s. PCGS and NGC have each certified one example as Mint State. The present piece has glimpses of luster, a sharp strike, and a quantity of small marks on the fields and portrait.(Registry values: N2998)
