Description
1868-S $10 AU 50 Cleaned. An elusive issue above the XF level, the 1868-S is as difficult to locate in any grade as the 1858-S, 1859-S, 1862-S, 1865-S Inverted Date, and 1866-S Motto. Although cleaned at one time, this coin is quite attractive for the grade with no more than the expected number of circulation marks. The central features are boldly defined and the overall color is orange-gold in shade.
