Description
Low Mintage (1,830 pieces) 1869 Eagle
1869 XF 45 Cleaned. Long regarded as one of the premier rarities among Liberty tens, the 1869 boasts an impressively low mintage of 1,830 coins. The brightness of this piece indicates a thorough cleaning, but despite this and fifteen points of wear, some inherent prooflike flash is still in evidence. Scattered marks in the fields, none of singular importance.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 264R, PCGS# 8655, GSID# 9390)
