Description
1869 XF 40 Polished. A very elusive issue with a mintage of only 1,830 pieces, the 1869 is one of the best-known rarities in the With Motto series and indeed among all Coronet tens. Unfortunately the surfaces of this coin exhibit a uniform, dulled chrome-like finish from a severe polishing. Scattered abrasions are still seen beneath the hairlining.
