1869-S $10 XF40 PCGS. This orange-gold rare date eagle has substantial luster for the grade, and is minimally abraded except for a pair of thin marks on the right reverse field. Only 6,430 pieces were struck. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 6 in 40, 26 finer (5/09).
Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2000), lot 7849, which realized $1,955.
