Description
1870-S VF 35 Cleaned. An extraordinary condition rarity, the '70-S is prohibitively rare and expensive above the VF grade level. This is certainly a pleasing example even though it was once cleaned, as evidenced by the muted surfaces and some reddish-copper color covering both sides. Well struck, the surfaces are exceptionally clean for the grade.
