Not Sold Description
Conditionally Rare 1870-S Ten Dollar, XF 45
1870-S XF 45 NGC. A very scarce, low mintage issue and an important condition rarity as well, seldom being seen above the XF level (only 5 AU specimens have been graded by NGC (4/96) with no mint state pieces known by either service). This is a very nice example with decent details for the grade, surprisingly few contact marks, and a rich red-golden color.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 264V, PCGS# 8659, GSID# 9472)
