1871-CC $10 --Cleaned--ANACS. VF30 Details. The 1871-CC is a scarce coin within the Liberty Head Reverse Motto eagle series. Only 8,085 pieces were struck, and Douglas Winter, in his Gold Coins of the Carson City Mint, estimates 90 to 100 extant. The bright yellow-gold surfaces of this VF30 Details coin reveal fine hairlines under magnification and a scattering of small marks.
