1871-CC $10 XF45 NGC. Following a small mintage of less than 6,000 coins in 1870, the Carson City Mint produced 8,085 eagles in 1871. Survivors are rare in all grades. This piece has splendid honey-gold color with minor abrasions that are strictly grade consistent. Here is a splendid opportunity for the avid Carson City collector to acquire a rare and important issue.
