1872-S $10 AU 58 NGC. Bright yellow-gold surfaces with a few blushes of deeper orange color here and there. There is minor striking softness on Liberty's highest curls, the eagle's talons, and surrounding arrow feathers. The '72-S eagle is a moderately scarce issue that is usually seen in XF grades and only infrequently appears in the higher reaches of AU.
