Description
1873-S VF 30 PCGS. A very rare With Motto ten with a mintage of only 12,000 pieces. Obviously, this issue has suffered a high attrition rate as very few exist today in any grade. The typical '73-S is VF 27 as calculated by David Akers in his masterful auction survey done several years ago. This piece has exceptionally bright surfaces that are a bit softly detailed on the obverse. Minimal abrasions for the grade. Trends $1,200 in VF 20, $2,250 in XF 40.
