1874 $10 MS60 NGC. Moderately prooflike luster illuminates this sharply struck example. A contact mark near 9 o'clock on the reverse is mentioned for accuracy. After years of extremely low mintages, the Philadelphia Mint produced 53,160 Eagles in 1874, still a modest quantity but the highest mintage since 1861.
