Description

Attractive 1874-CC Eagle, VF35

1874-CC $10 VF35 PCGS. The mintage of 16,767 eagles at Carson City in 1874 was the highest production total for the denomination through the first 11 years that eagles were coined in Nevada. As such, it is clearly the most easily located of any issue in the 1870s, but it should still be considered a rare issue. This pleasing specimen has smooth light yellow surfaces with a hint of green. The fields remain slightly reflective, and the overall eye appeal is excellent.(Registry values: N991)
