    Description

1874-CC Liberty Head Ten Dollar, XF45
    Accessible Carson City Eagle

1874-CC $10 XF45 PCGS. Variety 1-A. A production increase of nearly 370% resulted in a mintage of 16,767 eagles at the CC-mint in 1874. Pair that with an above-average survival rate and one begins to grasp what makes this one of the more collectible ten dollar issues from this mint. Hints of luster remain on both sides of this orange-gold representative. Abrasions and blending are consistent with the high-end XF assessment. Encapsulated in an old green label holder. Population: 37 in 45 (1 in 45+), 35 finer (1/18).
