Description

PCGS 1874-CC VF 35. Softly struck, but with little actual wear. Plenty of original luster still remains on this piece, especially around the lettering and devices (where an original orange-gold color also resides). A carbon spot appears on the lower left reverse indicating an impurity in the planchet. This is a very scarce coin, particularly in high grade and as indicated by the big spread between the VF and XF prices. Trends at $900 in VF 20 and $3,900 in XF!
