Rare 1874-S Liberty Ten AU50
1874-S $10 AU50 PCGS. Although the San Francisco Mint churned out many millions of double eagles during the 1870s, their production of ten dollar pieces was meager. For the 1874-S, only 10,000 pieces were struck, and the denomination was omitted entirely the next year. The present example is sharply struck and exhibits pockets of luster.
