Appealing 1874-S Eagle, Choice AU
1874-S $10 AU55 NGC. A remarkably lustrous Choice AU representative with splendid pale yellow patina. Scattered abrasions are consistent with the grade, and none are particularly bothersome. The obverse is a bit soft, but the reverse is exquisitely defined. The 1874-S is a conditionally rare issue that is seldom seen above XF.
