1874-S Eagle, XF 40
1874-S XF 40 PCGS. Of the 10,000 pieces struck, most of the remaining population is either VF or XF (only a handful of coins) with very few AUs, and none thus far graded in mint state (11/97). The surfaces exhibit light to moderate sized abrasions, as is typical for the issue, and both sides are a rich golden color.
