Not Sold Description
1875-CC XF 40 PCGS. An extremely scarce date and seldom offered in any grade. Akers reports that almost all known specimens grade VF or less, and that few, if any, U.S. gold coins come more heavily worn than this date. Bright, yellow-gold surfaces, there is some evidence of prooflikeness still remaining in the protected areas. A rare opportunity to acquire this important CC eagle in high grade.
