Description

1875-CC Good 6 PCGS. The 1875 is the poorest produced eagle to emerge from the Carson City mint. This fact, combined with copious wear, gives this coin a below average appearance. The obverse rims and better than 75% of their reverse counterpart are missing. The central devices are equally devoid of detail, with the obverse once again taking the brunt of the abuse. The surfaces display an even copper-gold hue and carry several scattered abrasions and a noticeable nick in the obverse field inside star 12. An affordable, though low grade, representation of this challenging CC-mint eagle with an original delivery of only 7,715 pieces.
