Description
1876 Ten Dollar, XF Details
Only 40 to 50 Pieces Known
1876 $10 -- Repaired -- PCGS Genuine. XF Details. From a low
mintage of 687 pieces, the 1876 ten dollar is a rarity in all
grades. PCGS estimates only 40 to 50 pieces survive in all grades.
PCGS notes repair work on this piece, which appears as extensive
smoothing of the fields and over the devices, with myriad lines
overall. The deep olive-gold patina is uniform over each side, and
the core details of the devices are well brought up. A collectible
example of this rare date.(Registry values: N2998)
