Description

1876-CC $10 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NCS. VG Details. Variety 1-A. The only known variety. Relatively strong VG detail remains despite heavy wear. All letters in LIBERTY are strong except for the L, Liberty's eye shows as does that of the eagle, all letters in the motto are clearly readable save for the W in WE, and most of the shield lines show. Wheat-gold surfaces reveal just the expected circulation marks. The cleaning is not all that bad.
