1876-S Liberty Eagle, AU50
Only 20 Finer
1876-S $10 AU50 PCGS. The 1876-S coin is scarce in all
grades, with the second-lowest mintage of the San Francisco issue
of eagles and to date, none have been certified in Mint State. The
coin is well-struck and displays minor abrasions along its fields,
but none so excessive as to diminish its eye appeal. PCGS has only
graded 13 examples at AU50 and found only 20 numerically finer;
this piece is also housed in a Generation 3.1 green label holder
