Description
1876-S XF 40 PCGS. Very scarce in all grades, with pieces above VF extremely rare. The original mintage of the '76-S was a mere 5,000 pieces and what few survivors remain are clustered in the VF category. This is a pleasing piece that shows good detailing, but lacks complete highpoint definition. The surfaces show evidence of circulation, but remain moderately clean and there is a lovely orange-gold color over both sides.
