1876-S XF 40. Continuing in the tradition of low-mintage tens from San Francisco, a situation that was to change drastically in three years, just 5,000 pieces were struck this year. The surfaces on this coin are clean and there is a lovely orange-gold color over both sides, with small portions of original luster still seen around the devices.
