Conditionally Rare 1877-S Ten Dollar, Choice AU58 NGC
1877-S $10 AU58 NGC. Very few AU or Mint State pieces have been certified of this conditionally rare S-mint Ten. This piece has original yellow-gold surfaces with excellent luster surrounding the devices. A mark in the upper left obverse field and another on Liberty's cheek join as the most prominent abrasions on each side although myriad small marks are present overall and quite typical for the issue.
