Description

1878 $10 MS62 PCGS. Shimmering, reddish-tinged surfaces are modestly and rather evenly abraded over both sides. The 1878 eagle is one of just a few With Motto issues struck between 1866 and 1880 that can affordably be located in Mint State. Pieces grading finer than the MS60-61 range are quite difficult nonetheless. Population: 22 in 62, 18 finer (12/04).
Ex: Bowers and Merena 1/01..
