1878 MS 64 PCGS. Often erroneously perceived as a common date among most collectors, the 1878 ten is an elusive issue whose survivors typically grade either VF or XF. Near-Gem representatives are as difficult to obtain as those of the lower mintage 1874. This is a scintillating example that displays rich mint frost and clean features.
