1878-S Liberty Eagle, AU58
Conditionally Rare
1878-S $10 AU58 NGC. The availability of the 1878-S Liberty
eagle declines in the finer AU grades, and Mint State examples are
extremely rare. This near-Mint representative boasts partially
lustrous honey-gold surfaces that illuminate well-struck design
elements. Little high-point wear is present, and a mark in the
field right of the eagle's head is the only abrasion of note.
