Low Mintage 1879-CC Eagle Extremely Fine

1879-CC $10 XF40 PCGS. The production for the 1879-CC Eagle, 1,762 pieces, is the lowest among all Carson City Liberty Tens and only the '70-CC is considered rarer. This piece has bright golden surfaces and no particularly bothersome abrasions. Only vague remnants of the original prooflike finish can be found about the stars and lettering. Population: 5 in 40, 13 finer (10/01).
