Low-Mintage Rarity
1879-O $10 -- Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. Winter-1. The
1879-O eagle boasts a scant mintage of only 1,500 pieces and is
scarce in all grades. PCGS estimates a survivorship of only 75 to
100 coins, with merely a few of those in Mint State. This AU-level
piece displays partially reflective fields with bright straw-gold
color and well-defined motifs. Scattered abrasions accompany a
touch of circulation, though some faint hairlines on each side
prevent a numeric grade from NGC.(Registry values: N4719)From The Brittany Legacy Collection, Part II.
