1879-O $10 --Polished--NCS AU Details. Both sides of this piece are unnaturally bright, thanks to some miscreant who abraded and polished the surfaces. Fortunately, at some later time the piece was rescued by an unknown collector who recognized the importance of this issue, with its low mintage of only 1,500 coins.
