1879-S $10 MS61 PCGS. Frosty and sharply struck, this Mint State 1879-S eagle has mostly yellow surfaces with some areas of darker olive patina. A generous mintage of 224,000 coins does little to explain the importance of this issue in Mint State grades. Population: 26 in 61, 20 finer (7/10).(Registry values: N1793)
