Description

1880 MS 64 NGC. Neither grading service has graded a finer specimen. Fairly common in lesser grades of Uncirculated, the population of 1880 eagles thins out rapidly in finer grades. Splendid original color is seen on both sides of this near-gem specimen. Fully struck with satiny luster and mild abrasions. Population: 3 in 64, none finer (12/98).
