1880-O Ten Dollar, AU58+
Semiprooflike Fields

1880-O $10 AU58+ PCGS. Variety 1. While the 1880-O is moderately available in circulated grades, it becomes scarce in Mint State as well as at the high end of the About Uncirculated level. This AU58+ example is partially prooflike with rich, orange-gold color that confirms the original surfaces. The few light marks that exist are nondistracting in nature for a coin that shows brief circulation. The strike is sharp throughout including the stars, where slight doubling exists on the left side. Population: 3 in 58+, 13 finer (12/23).(Registry values: N1793)
