Description

Reddish-Gold 1880-S Ten Dollar, MS63

1880-S $10 MS63 NGC. Breen-7000. Taller S. While one of the more common S-mint tens from this era, the 1880-S is almost never found finer than MS63. This piece displays rich reddish patina, rather than the usually seen yellow-gold color. The strike is strong throughout, and the surfaces are a bit choppy, explaining the grade.(Registry values: N2998)
