1881 Ten Dollar, MS64
Excellent Type Coin
1881 $10 MS64 NGC. The 1881 ten dollar has a mintage of 3.8
million pieces, and there was also a high number of survivors, many
of which are in mint condition. However, few of the survivors
attain this level of preservation. This is a lovely example that
has rich golden-reddish color and bright mint luster. The striking
details are complete on each side and there are no mentionable
surface flaws, just as one would expect from a type coin. Census:
