Borderline Uncirculated 1881-O Eagle
1881-O $10 AU58 PCGS. The New Orleans Mint reopened in 1879 to strike silver dollars. Ten dollar pieces were an afterthought, coined in small quantities through 1883. Only 8,350 1881-O tens were struck. This example has little indication of high-point friction, and contact is minimal save for a cluster of thin marks beneath the hairbun.
