Description

1881-O $10 XF40 PCGS. The New Orleans Mint reopened in 1879 to coin silver dollars, but the facility also struck limited quantities of eagles each year through 1883. The '81-O mintage was only 8,350 pieces. The sharpness and extent of the luster are impressive for the XF level, and the honey-gold color is original. There is one concealed mark on Liberty's jaw. Encased in a green label holder.(Registry values: N991)
