Description
1882 $10 MS64 PCGS. One of the notable strike rarities of the entire Liberty Head eagle series. The large mintage of 2.3 million pieces yielded many examples through MS63 grades, yet incredibly few near-Gems for the mintage and virtually no finer coins. This sharply lustrous, frosty example offers a bold strike and original yellow-gold coloration with olive and orange highlights. A few tiny field marks define the grade.
