Description

1882 $10 MS64 PCGS. A readily available date in the Indian ten series is a rarity in its own right, considering the number of low-mintage and challenging eagle issues that make up the long series. More than 2.3 million 1882 eagles were struck, and hundreds are graded through the MS63 level. At MS64 and finer grades, the issue becomes scarce. This frosted near-Gem features excellent cartwheel luster over the radiant orange-gold surfaces. Only a few light abrasions limit the grade. Population: 54 in 64 (2 in 64+), 1 finer (9/19).(Registry values: N1793)
