1882-CC $10 -- Obverse Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. Unc.
Variety 2-A. Misplaced date digits in the dentils below the
date are common to all 1882-CC eagles (6,764 coins struck). About
160 to 190 examples of this Carson City issue are believed extant,
according to Rusty Goe (2020). This piece features rich orange-gold
color with luster around the borders and uniformly strong devices.
The obverse is muted from cleaning.
