It is the scarcest post-1879 Carson City ten in terms of overall rarity, according to Doug Winter. This Choice XF coin boasts a bold strike over surfaces with good luster remaining and nice eye appeal. Original surfaces range from yellow to gold to brownish accents in the device interiors. Population: 33 in 45, 72 finer (8/16).
