1882-O $10 AU55 NGC. Winter 1....
Description
1882-O Liberty Ten, AU55
Scarce Southern Issue
1882-O $10 AU55 NGC. Winter 1. The New Orleans Mint
re-opened in 1879 with a mission of striking silver dollars, but
eagles were also coined there annually through 1883. Mintages were
low, though, and the 1882 production was only 10,820 pieces. This
lightly circulated pumpkin-gold example shows luster throughout the
legends and plumage. Specks of struck-in grease visit the
portrait.(Registry values: N1793)From The Brittany Legacy Collection, Part I.
