Choice Prooflike AU 1882-O Ten-Dollar

1882-O AU 55 PCGS. A very scarce date and an important condition rarity in AU condition that merits a high R.6 rating in this grade. This piece has full prooflike fields on each side and is well struck throughout. Obviously original, the coin has a rich overlay of reddish patina with several charcoal-gray incrustations scattered around the peripheries. A copper stain is seen next to the eagle's head on the reverse.
