Description

1883-CC $10 AU50 PCGS. Golden-orange and greenish areas compete for turf on this lustrous AU eagle. Garrett and Guth say that even AU coins of this issue are rare, despite a mintage that is nearly twice that of the previous year. This is a well-struck piece, and the presence of a single small dark toning spot above the 1 in the date does not detract from the broad appeal.(Registry values: N2998)
