Elusive Carson City Issue in High Grade
1883-CC $10 AU55 NGC. Variety 1-B. This Carson City ten is
elusive in high-end AU condition, and Mint State pieces are rare.
The present coin displays semireflective fields with rich
yellow-gold color and bold devices. Little wear is present on each
side, and the scattered abrasions that accompany the grade are not
bothersome. Census: 37 in 55, 23 finer (9/20).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2667, PCGS# 8700, Greysheet# 9500)
